Audience: Researchers and clinicians at all career stages, with a special focus on Members-in-training.
Scientists and clinicians are under pressure to obtain grant support, conduct research, run a lab, maintain a clinical practice, and teach trainees. This workload is further compounded by individual life stressors. Concern about these competing pressures has resulted in a heightened awareness regarding burnout. This webinar convenes a panel of researchers and clinicians at various career stages to share their perspectives on developing your career to avoid burnout and the importance of work-life balance. Speakers will discuss major hurdles they have overcome and lessons-learned and will share helpful resources.This workshop will help attendees identify career challenges and skills to navigate a healthy work-life balance.
