Networking fundamentals
The ability to make and sustain connections with other people is essential to success in work and in life. Science and medicine will improve if researchers and medical professionals work together to solve problems. However, research curricula may not teach the skills necessary to help scientists make and sustain connections and grow a professional network. This mini module explains the fundamental skills necessary to establish and maintain a professional network. Attention is paid to cultural (institutional and global) influences on networking.
